Hello! Welcome to Happy Bokeh Films. My name is Miguel and I am the lead filmmaker and editor. I’ve been in love with filmmaking since Highschool, when I shot a short documentary on my father and won a category in the 2011 Heartland Film Festival. I saw the power of filmmaking then, looking at the audience captivated and in tears. Since that day, I knew that documenting heartfelt moments was my calling in life.
The wedding day is anticipated since someone’s childhood. A contract of love, and a union of two families. There is no greater honor and privilege to me than to be the one who you can trust to capture one of your most sacred days and deliver something that you would be eager to re-live each anniversary.

My philosophy: I do not want to give you a montage music video of your wedding. My style is very raw, story driven and documentary-esc. I want you to feel the love of your friends and family celebrating you every time you watch your film. I want you to understand the emotion you felt on your wedding day every time you listen to the vows. I want your film to be a time capsule for your future generations to understand how beautiful love can be.
